I realize it’s been a mere 24 hours since I retired my first blog, but it’s great to be back nonetheless!
These last few months have been a bit of a blur. Quitting one job, beginning another, moving home, and adjusting to a new standard of living. It is a lot to deal with under the best of circumstances. Add to that the cold and darkness of winter, and it is almost too much to bear. The one thing that keeps me going is the promise of spring. Day and night, I dream of warm weather, extended daylight, and a multitude of house and garden projects to fill my hours and reignite my spirit.
There are at least 6 weeks of cold, dark days to contend with before the weather becomes favorable again. And though it sounds a ways off, it is barely enough time to plan and prepare the vegetable beds. Not to mention insulating the basement, building a patio and fixing the tin roof before summer heat sets in. So much to do, so little time, and even less money. This could get interesting.
Cheers, and thanks for following along!
