I’m working my way back to a “normal” routine now. Once again, my attendance has not been perfect, but it’s getting better. More importantly, I’m having fun again, which was not the case during the previous 6 weeks or so.
I’m feeling autumnal and Halloweenish, and I’m digging the eerie inspiration. I also love chiaroscuro (strong light, deep shadows). Ironic, as contrast has always been so difficult for me. I think I’m getting there… slowly. This drawing makes me want to add some clever Macbeth reference, but then I’d feel compelled to admit that I’ve never read Macbeth (gasp!). Then I’d add it to my already impossibly long to-do list, and that would stress me out because I can’t everything done that I want to. As I’ve said before: it’s hard being me.
More cold, dark and/or eerie drawings to follow.
Again, I’ve been a bit slack these last few weeks. But if you want to see what I’ve been up to…
