Shockoe Slip

I attended a web/social media conference in Richmond last week  (which I’m still trying to wrap my tired, middle-aged mind around).  For me, the highlight was spending a few days down in Shockoe Slip.  It felt great being home again and in such a positive place, both physically and emotionally.   The weather, unfortunately, was less than cooperative and put a bit of a damper on my photo efforts. I managed to catch a few shots outside the hotel between the rain, traffic and construction projects. Not much to show, but  all the reason to go back and try again under better conditions.   Still, it was  a good trip complete with a nice visit with the folks and drinks with old friends at Joe’s, Pasture and Heritage (all great places in their own way).  Lots of good stuff packed in a few days.
