It’s October 26th, and the leaves are nearly past prime. I went out shooting pictures yesterday and today and found – surprisingly – I’m really tired of taking pictures of trees. In fact, I’m kind of tired of doing the same thing over and over and over in every aspect of my life. So, It’s time to shake things up a bit. Not that I know what that means, but I’m going to give it some thought. More focus? Following a specific theme? Mastering something? ANYTHING!! I’m officially done with being a generalist. And wouldn’t it be swell if I actually incorporated human beings in some of my work? Tall order for this determined singlest. But I’ll give it some thought. That said, I deleted 90% of my photos and just went with ones that I liked or represented autumn in my ‘hood. The pictures below were taken in the wee morning hours in my local city park, or up the road just past the city limits. I seriously adore the water reflections in the swan and duck photos. The ripples and swirls remind me of a Van Gogh or Klimt painting.
